A message to our clients
On Dec 7, 2024, I collapsed in the yard due to a ruptured aneurysm on my carotid artery.
I spent 24 days in the hospital, 10 of which on a ventilator, during which time doctors added a drain in my brain and a stent in my artery.
Life largely went back to normal until my Feb. 27 recheck. My neurosurgeon informed me the aneurysm was larger and that fixing this may involve surgical risks that could leave me semi-paralyzed. Additionally, he said the aneurysm could still rupture at any time before the next recheck.
Terrified I was a ticking time bomb and fearing the worst outcome for myself and my wife, I opted to step away from all work, including my own company, Davis Farrell.
However, not only was the aneurysm not larger at my recheck March 27, it was completely gone. Healed. The neurosurgeon said this is almost unheard of, but I’ll take the win.
I am both shocked and thrilled and happy to still be here and able to get back to work and life!
